The process of selling on Amazon is actually quite simple so don’t depair!

The first step is to find a product. This involves research using software tools like Junglescout. These tools help us identify profitable markets and products. We start by going through the current Amazon Marketplace looking for products in categories that sell really well! This could be anything, a home product, pet product, fitness device, electronic product, etc.

Using specific Amazon Selling Tools we then review the sales figures to see how many sales a similar product could make per month. This is the exciting part – there are so many gaps in the Amazon Marketplace which can be exploited.… the ‘right’ product could make you a fortune!

We then look to source the product and buy in volume to get the best price. Just look at how cheapthis beauty product is to buy per piece ordered, £1 to buy and then selling for £9.50 on Amazon!

We next need to list our product on Amazon. Listing the product details are easy – the trick is getting your listing onto the first page of the Amazon marketplace so that you can maximise sales!  Again we use tools to help us find the KEYWORDS we need to write in our title and description. Understanding how the Amazon algorithm works is all important!

So ONE way to sell on Amazon is to create your own products like the one above (called Private Label or Labelling). Another way if you can’t be bothered or just want somewhere to start is to sell existing products for profit – you can buy pretty much anything on sale elsewhere and then sell for a higher price on Amazon! (Retail Arbitrage)!
